Is anyone else tiring of this week-long Gizmodo indictment?
Scale back to a slightly larger perspective.
On Apple Apple suffers no real damage from the events of the week. The phone itself will be in our hands in a few months. It’s possible that there are a handful of people that would have bought an iPhone in April, May, or June, and they might wait a few months now. However, I am pretty sure everybody knows that new iPhones come out in June or July (like they have for years now). It’s Apple’s, in any case, to research and pursue.
On Gizmodo They’re pageview scum. They were pageview scum last month, too.
On Gruber How much of this is covering what’s actually happening to Apple, and how much of this is spanking a competitor who scooped details Gruber wasn’t allowed to reveal? Gruber is so consistently fair and measured, and his hounding of this angle of this story is starting to seem personal. It’s uncharacteristic.
